An Exciting and Spontanious Day for Me!

So today was interesting. I finally filed our taxes. I'm glad thats out of the way! I also talked to my best friend and found out that i was going to miss his farewell... when i thought i was going to make it to it. I made a joke that if he could find me a flight home for under $400 i would fly out. I didnt think he would take it seriously but he did and ten minutes later he texted me and had found a flight for under $300. So of course i bought the ticket! So not only do i get to go to his farewell at the end of the month, i also get to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday! I'm so excited! i havent been home in almost 3 months, so i'm way happy to have the chance to go!

Silly High School Drama

So I know my husband will think this is silly that I'm putting this on my blog, but i really think people need to understand the effects of bullying. So back in my high school days... eleventh grade to be exact, i had a boyfriend that my parents did not want me to see; and when i say they didn't want me to see him, i mean that i was absolutely forbidden to ever be with him. So like the rebellious teenager i was, i saw him anyway. I thought i was "in love" and we dated for quite a while. When we finally broke up, i realized that our relationship had been extremely abusive. He had me completely convinced that i was fat and ugly. It crushed me.
So when i started into my senior year, i went back to the high school after i had dropped out in eleventh. I was petrified to go back to my school. I didn't think i had a friend in the world. And i was almost right. For the first part of the year i tagged along with my two younger cousins. It was nice to know that someone cared for me. Except one of the cousins saw that i was insecure and she used that against me. She took the advantage to bully me back after i had bullied her when we were younger. It definitely stung a little.
My cousins went off with their own groups after a while. Leaving me all alone at lunch. I always sat by myself in the upstairs hallway of our school during lunch; or out in my car. It was definitely not the highlight of my life. Then one of my new friends in my English class decided that i needed to date again, so she started to find boys for me. I started to date a guy that was a couple years older than me. He was extremely nice. We had been on a few dates and then we had our first kiss and it was really sweet. Except after that date i never heard from him again. And i really didn't understand why. But then one of my really good friends called me and told me that she had been over at his house and him and his friends had heard a rumor about me that definitely shed me in a bad light. And the only one that could have started the rumor was my ex boyfriend that i was forbidden to see. The boys had made this rumor into a crude joke that destroyed my life.
The sad part is that this didn't only happen to one of my relationships, but to two of them. Two of the guys i dated had caught wind of the rumor and decided that it was true and left me. I was completely heart broken. There was also an occasion that i decided to email my ex and i told him that he could have done so much better with his life. I had no intentions of getting an email back from him, but i got an email back from his new girlfriend at the time.... lets just say that didn't end well... it also made me 100% positive that he was the one spreading the rumor because she threw it in my face as an insult.
The point to this long drawn out story is that i was going through my emails the other day and found the email from my ex's girlfriend and it brought back a lot of hurtful feelings. I've always put on a strong poker face, but the truth is that that rumor hurt me extremely bad. Actually not only that, but the fact that he made me feel so insecure than started the rumor. Bullying is extremely hurtful and i wish that kids would get a clue and not do it. I still to this day am haunted by it. My high school years were probably the worst years of my life and it shouldn't have been that way. The things that were said about me definitely cut deep and they still sting. I know all of this just sounds like silly high school drama, but it wasn't to me... it was my life, and i wish i could have changed all of it. But i guess its molded me into the person that i am today and for that I'm thankful. And i know one thing for sure.... I Am a Better Person than THEM!!!!!

The Opposite of Yesterday.

So today was the complete opposite of yesterday. I started my day off with a not so nice little stomach bug. The weather took a drastic turn for the worst. It was cloudy, rainy, and cold; definitely good inside weather.

On the bright side, I got to have a nice long chat with my mom, which i enjoy a lot more since I've moved out. I also got to work on my cross stitch but i don't think it will be done by the end of this week like i had hoped. Not really much happening today.

Days Like Today....

So today was a beautiful day in Virginia Beach. Not a cloud in the sky, 65 degrees, slightly breezy... a perfect day to spend outdoors. So i did just that; the dogs and I went to the beach. Baylee loves the beach, she can dig all she wants and she loves all the attention she gets from the other beach goers; today she even got to experience something new, she got to meet a bathtub sized box turtle! Some lady was out walking her massive box turtle on the boardwalk. Definitely one of the strangest things I've ever seen. I'm just wondering how she got the turtle to the beach in the first place... either she's extremely strong and can lift the turtle into a vehicle or she had the longest, slowest walk down to the beach! Anyway; so after Baylee sniffed her new turtle friend for a while, we made our way down to the shoreline. We sat and watched the surfers, well actually me and Chiquita sat and watched them, Baylee was to busy digging a pit around me. We stayed down there for quite a while. It was nice to get out of the house and relax on the beach. It would have been more relaxing if i didn't have to dodge all of the flying sand from Baylee's vigorous digging. By the time we left i was sitting in a big bowl that Baylee was so kind to dig for me! It was definitely a very fun adventure to the beach. I think we'll have to take another jaunt down there later this week if the weather permits it. It's days like today that make me so glad that i married Steve. If i wouldn't have married him i wouldn't have Baylee, my car, the beach, or any of the adventures we've been on thus far in our marriage. I'm definitely glad i have him in my life.

One of the best nights being alone!

So today was day three of my husband being away for training. My day was pretty uneventful. The dogs and I hung out, i downloaded some old computer games like Oregon Trail, Where in the World is Carmen San Diego, Super muncher.... things like that. After a while i decided that i probably should do something productive, so i decided that i would clean my bathroom (since it's the smallest room in the house). I scrubbed everything down and bleached the floor tiles... I organized under the sink... then I thought i would give our bathroom a change of scene. So I got thinking about those wall sayings that you can use. So I got on google and started my search. I found some really cute and inspirational wall sayings; but then I found some funny ones and that lead me off into a tangent of finding funny bathroom jokes, and boy did the Internet deliver! I was laughing so hard, at some of these things that i found, that i was crying! I called my parents and my husband and couldn't keep my composure long enough to tell them the jokes. I think one of the things I found in particular is good enough to share with you!...

THE POOPIE LIST
Ghost Poopie
The kind where you feel the Poopie come out, but there's no poopie in the toilet.

Clean Poopie
The kind where you poopie it out, see it in the toilet, but there is nothing on the toilet paper.

Wet Poopie
The kind where you wipe your butt fifty times and it still feels unwiped, so you have to put some toilet paper between your butt and your underwear so you don't runie them with a stain.

Second Wave Poopie
The kind that happens when you're done poopie-ing and you've pulled your pants up to your knees, and you realize you have to poopie some more.

Turtle Poopie
The kind of poopie that pops out a little and goes back in a few times before it finally comes out

Pop-a-Vein-in-your-Forehead-Poopie
The kind where you strain so much to get it out, you practically have a stroke.

Lincoln Log Poopie
The kind of Poopie that is so huge you're afraid to flush without first breaking it into little pieces with the plunger.

Gas-sy Poopie
The kind where it's so noisy, everyone within earshot is giggling!

Drinker Poopie
The kind of Poopie you have the morning after a long night of drinking. It's most noticeable trait is the skid marks on the bottom of the toilet.

Corn Poopie
(Self explanatory)

Gee-I-Wish-I-Could-Poop Poopie
The kind where you want to Poopie, but all you do is it on the toilet and fart a few times.

Spinal Tap Poopie
That's the kind when it hurts so badly coming out, you swear it was leaving you sideways.

Wet Cheeks Poopie (The Power Dump)
The kind that comes out of your butt so fast, your butt cheeks get splashed with water.

Liquid Poopie
The kind where yellowish-brown liquid shoots out of your butt and splashes all over the toilet bowl.

Mexican Poopie
The kind that smells so bad your nose burns.

Upper Class Poopie
The kind of Poopie that doesn't smell.

The Surprise Poopie
You are not even at the toilet, because you're sure you are about to fart, but, OOPS---a Poopie!

The Dangling Poopie
This Poopie refuses to drop into the toilet even though you know you are done poopie-ing. You just pray that a shake or two will cut it loose.

I know this is really bad potty humor, but i haven't had a good laugh for a very long time and this definitely made my day! I hope it does the same for you!

A lonely day for me.

So I'm definitely new to this blogging thing. I decided that it will be nice for my family and friends to get to see what i do during the day since i only update my status on facebook. Everyone is always asking how I'm doing, and now they will know.
Today was the first day of my husbands two week training adventure; leaving me alone for that time. Luckily i have two wonderful dogs (Baylee & Chiquita) and my bird (Lori), to keep my company. After dropping my husband off at his command i came home and did a load of dishes (definitely not my favorite thing to do) and started my calendar project. I also worked on my first cross stitch project.
My goal this week is to finish this cross stitch!
